Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 85 years old.
  • Your general health is classified as ASA I, II, or III (basically healthy to moderate health issues).
  • You are having a planned (elective) surgery that includes a lateral TAP block (an injection near your abdomen to numb the area).
  • The ultrasound-guided block will be recorded on video.
  • You can sign a consent form agreeing to participate.
