Who can take part

  • You had a deep second- or third-degree burn around your mouth that needed a skin graft.
  • You have a small mouth opening (microstomia) that makes eating, talking, or oral care hard.
  • Your jaw joint moves normally (not limited).
  • Your scarred skin is healthy enough to wear a mouth device without tearing or bleeding.
  • You do not have a blood vessel disease that affects circulation.
