Who can take part

  • You have advanced liver cancer (HCC) that cannot be removed by surgery or has progressed after local treatments.
  • You have not had any systemic treatment (like drugs that work throughout the body) for your liver cancer before.
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan (CT or MRI).
  • Your liver function is good (Child-Pugh score A or better B).
  • You are generally able to take care of yourself (ECOG score 0-2).
  • Your blood counts and kidney function are within acceptable ranges.
