- You are scheduled for eye surgery under general anesthesia.
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 30.
- You have not had a heart attack, stroke, or uncontrolled high blood pressure in the last 6 months.
- You do not have severe lung disease, brain injury, or a known allergy to the study drug or similar painkillers.
- You have not used strong painkillers regularly for more than 10 days in the last 3 months.
