Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older (or believed to be)
  • You have a suspected or confirmed serious injury to your lower body with signs of heavy blood loss (like fast heart rate, low blood pressure, or poor blood flow)
  • You are thought to benefit from a treatment that uses a belt to squeeze the aorta (main blood vessel) in the lower belly area
  • You may also have traumatic cardiac arrest (heart stopped due to injury)
