Who can take part

  • You are a woman aged 18 or older.
  • You have cervical cancer that has not been treated before, and it is a specific type confirmed by a biopsy.
  • Your cancer is at a stage where it has spread locally but not to distant organs.
  • You are willing to come back for follow-up visits for up to 12 months after treatment.
  • You are healthy enough to get chemotherapy with a drug called cisplatin, and your blood counts and kidney function are good.
