Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a skin spot that your doctor thinks might be an unusual mole or melanoma and is already planning to remove it.
  • You agree to participate and sign a consent form.
  • The spot must have been checked with a dermoscope and a special microscope (reflectance confocal microscopy) and looks suspicious.
  • You must not have any condition that prevents you from giving informed consent.
