Peanut allergy food challenge biomarker study

This study aims to identify markers in the blood that could help predict how severe a peanut allergy reaction might be. If you qualify, your child will undergo a supervised peanut challenge to see how their body responds.

Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 1 and 17 years old.
  • Your child must be allergic to peanuts, confirmed by a test or a past reaction.
  • Your child must be avoiding peanuts currently.
  • Your child cannot have had life-threatening anaphylaxis to peanuts (like needing a breathing tube).
  • Your child cannot be pregnant (if applicable).
  • Your child must not have received certain allergy treatments like Xolair or Dupixent in the past 1-2 years.
