Who can take part
- You are 10 to 17 years old and have type 2 diabetes.
- You are on a stable dose of insulin, metformin, or an SGLT2i medicine (or just diet and exercise).
- Your recent blood sugar test (HbA1c) is between 6.5% and 11.0%.
- You weigh at least 45 kg (99 lbs) and your body mass index (BMI) is at or above the 85th percentile for your age and sex.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant, and if sexually active, you use effective birth control.
