Who can take part

  • You have type 2 diabetes.
  • Your diabetes treatment (diet, exercise, or oral medication) has been stable for the past 3 months.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 27 or higher.
  • You've tried to lose weight with diet or exercise in the last 6 months but it didn't work well.
  • You haven't used any weight-loss drugs (like Ozempic, Wegovy, or Mounjaro) in the last 3 months.
  • You don't have a history of certain thyroid cancers or pancreatitis.
