  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 30.0 and 45.0. (BMI is a measure of weight relative to height.)
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant or donate eggs during the study and for 2 months after.
  • You have not lost 5% or more of your body weight in the last 3 months without a specific weight loss program.
  • You do not have diabetes (HbA1c below 6.5% and blood sugar below 126 mg/dL).
  • You have not taken prescription weight loss medication or been in a weight loss study in the last 6 months.
