  • You are 20 years old or older.
  • You have head and neck cancer and are about to start radiation therapy, possibly with chemotherapy.
  • You do not have mouth sores (oral mucositis) yet.
  • You have not had radiation to the same area before.
  • You are not allergic to olive oil.
