  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are scheduled for a planned (non-emergency) surgery at UCSF.
  • A computer model identifies you as having higher risk for chronic pain after surgery.
  • You agree to join the study and sign a consent form.
  • You live in California.
  • Your surgery is at least one month away.
