Who can take part
- You must be of Asian descent.
- You have normal tension glaucoma (eye pressure usually below 21 mmHg) and some vision loss on a visual field test (MD between 0 and -12 dB).
- You are at least 20 years old.
- You are currently using 1 to 3 glaucoma eye drops, and your doctor thinks it's safe to stop them temporarily, or your eye pressure is still not low enough despite medications and it's safe to stop them.
- You have a healthy eye structure (Shaffer grade II or more in 3 of 4 quadrants) and a central corneal thickness between 450 and 600 µm.
- You have no other types of glaucoma, no laser treatment in the last 2 years, and no eye surgeries (except cataract surgery done more than a year ago) or planned cataract surgery.
