Who can take part

  • You have epilepsy that's not controlled by medications (drug-resistant epilepsy).
  • You are already scheduled for a procedure to place thin wires (SEEG electrodes) in your brain to find where seizures start.
  • At least one of those wires will be placed in a brain area called the piriform cortex.
  • You or your legal guardian agree in writing to be part of this study.
