Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 79 years old.
  • You have a liver transplant and were diagnosed with ischemic cholangiopathy (narrowed bile ducts) within the last year (but not sooner than 4 weeks after transplant).
  • Your blood tests show high alkaline phosphatase and GGT levels, indicating possible bile flow problems.
  • You have not been hospitalized in the last 2 weeks and are not currently very sick from other conditions.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking certain other medications (like cyclosporine or fenofibrate).
