Real-time vs intermittent glucose monitoring in type 2 diabetes

Who can take part

  • You are 35 years or older.
  • Your A1c (average blood sugar over 3 months) is above 7.0%.
  • You take at least one insulin injection daily.
  • Your diabetes medications have not changed in the last 3 months.
  • You have been on insulin for at least 3 months with a stable dose, and your fasting blood sugar is between 70 and 130 mg/dL.
  • You own a smartphone that can use near-field communication (NFC) technology.
