Who can take part
- You are between 40 and 55 years old.
- You have had abnormal uterine bleeding (heavy or irregular periods) for more than 3 months.
- You do not have an ovarian cyst or growth, or a vaginal or cervical ulcer.
- You are not postmenopausal (bleeding stopped for 12 months or more).
- You do not have diabetes, high blood pressure, or chronic liver disease that is causing the bleeding.
- You are not on hormone therapy or using an intrauterine device (IUD).
