Who can take part

  • You are between 24 and 36 weeks pregnant based on an early ultrasound.
  • Your blood sugar was normal early in pregnancy, but you have since been diagnosed with gestational diabetes (GDM).
  • You are carrying a single baby (not twins or more).
  • Your baby has no known birth defects or chromosomal problems.
  • You do not have preexisting diabetes, high blood pressure, or thyroid disease.
