Who can take part
- You have esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (a specific type of esophageal cancer) confirmed by biopsy.
- Your tumor is 5 cm or smaller and involves less than two-thirds of the inner circumference of your esophagus.
- You have not received any prior cancer treatment (surgery, chemo, radiation, or immunotherapy) for this cancer.
- You do not have an active autoimmune disease or take high-dose steroids or other immune-suppressing drugs.
- You are not pregnant and, if of childbearing age, agree to use effective contraception during the study.
