Who can take part
- Your bladder cancer must be a type called urothelial carcinoma, and it must be high-risk non-muscle-invasive (CIS, or high-grade Ta/T1 tumors).
- Your cancer must have returned or gotten worse after at least one full course of BCG treatment.
- You must be willing and able to receive the drugs directly into your bladder (through a catheter) and hold them there for about an hour.
- All visible tumors in your bladder must be completely removed within 8 weeks before starting treatment.
- You must either be a candidate for bladder removal surgery but choose not to have it, or you cannot have surgery due to other health issues.
- You must be age 18 or older, have a good performance status (ECOG 0–2), and adequate organ function (kidney, liver, blood cells).
