Who can take part
- You are between 45 and 75 years old.
- You have had Parkinson's for at least 4 years but less than 12 years.
- You still have movement problems for at least 1 hour each day, even when on medication.
- You take at least 300 mg of levodopa each day or take it 3 or more times daily, and your medications have been stable for the past 4 weeks.
- Your Parkinson's diagnosis is confirmed by a specialist using standard criteria.
- You are not currently pregnant, nursing, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
- You have no history of other conditions that could explain your symptoms (like stroke, brain surgery, or certain cancers).
- You have a care partner (family member or friend) who is at least 18 and can join you in the study.
