Who can take part

  • You have a cyst or fluid-filled sac in the ovary or nearby area seen on an ultrasound
  • The ultrasound could not clearly tell what the cyst is (it was unclear or suspicious)
  • You are willing to participate and can give permission (consent)
  • You have no metal implants, pacemaker, or severe anxiety in enclosed spaces (claustrophobia)
  • You are not currently pregnant or do not have a condition that prevents an MRI
