Prostate Cancer (Adenocarcinoma)Low and Intermediate Risk Prostate Cancer

Part of Cancer, Kidney & urinary clinical trials.

This trial tests a new way to treat intermediate-risk prostate cancer using a targeted laser guided by micro-ultrasound and MRI. It aims to see if this less invasive approach is safe and effective for men who have not had prior prostate cancer treatments.

MRI-guided laser treatment for prostate cancer

This trial tests a minimally invasive prostate treatment using MRI guidance and a focal laser to destroy only the cancer spot (not the whole prostate). If you have low-to-intermediate risk, MRI-visible prostate cancer in a limited area, it may help control the cancer while potentially reducing treatment side effects.

Radiation therapy for unfavorable prostate cancer

This trial tests a type of focused radiation therapy for men with intermediate or high-risk prostate cancer that hasn't spread. It aims to improve outcomes by targeting the main tumor seen on MRI.

Ultrasound guided radiation therapy for intermediate risk prostate cancer

This trial tests a precise radiation treatment for men with intermediate risk prostate cancer. It uses a special ultrasound to guide the radiation, aiming to treat the cancer while protecting healthy tissue. You should consider this if you have not had prior prostate cancer treatment and meet the risk category.

Focal laser treatment for prostate cancer

This trial tests a laser treatment that targets only the cancerous part of the prostate. It may be an option for men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer who do not want their entire prostate removed.

NCT05698576Recruiting
Laser treatment through the skin for men with prostate cancer

This trial tests a laser procedure done through the skin between the scrotum and anus, guided by MRI and ultrasound, for men with certain prostate cancer types. It aims to heat and treat prostate cancer while checking safety and outcomes over follow-up visits.

Focal therapy for intermediate risk prostate cancer registry

This is a registry study for men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer who are getting a type of focal treatment (treating only the cancer spot, not the whole prostate). It collects data on treatments like HIFU, cryotherapy, and others to better understand their long-term results.
