Who can take part

  • You can sign consent and attend all procedure and follow-up visits
  • You have prostate cancer that is considered “intermediate risk,” and it takes up less than one-third of your prostate on MRI
  • Your prostate size is between 18 and 100 cubic centimeters on MRI or ultrasound
  • Your prostate MRI shows lesions with PI-RADS score 3, 4, or 5
  • Your urinary symptoms are not too severe: IPSS is 23 or less, and you do not have significant urine backup after peeing
  • You must not have had prior prostate cancer treatment such as radiation or ablation, and you must not have certain bladder/nerve problems
