Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have either a normal airway or one that is predicted to be difficult to intubate.
  • You are having a breathing tube placed through your mouth using a video laryngoscope (a camera-assisted device).
  • You are not having rapid sequence intubation (a fast intubation method).
  • You are not having a double-lumen tube (a special tube for lung separation) placed.
