  • You have been diagnosed with rectal adenocarcinoma (a type of rectal cancer)
  • Your surgery was done between January 2017 and January 2023
  • Your tumor is a low rectal cancer that meets LOREC criteria
  • You had a minimally invasive surgery (like laparoscopic or robotic) that was not converted to open surgery
  • You do not have inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) like Crohn's or ulcerative colitis
