  • Child has had surgery to repair an anorectal malformation (a birth defect of the bottom opening)
  • MRI shows some anal sphincter muscles are still present
  • Child is between 6 and 10 years old
  • Child can follow simple instructions
  • Bowel symptoms are checked for one month before the study starts
