Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have a suspected high-grade glioma (a fast-growing brain tumor) based on scans like MRI or CT.
  • You are scheduled for surgery to treat this tumor.
  • You are willing to receive a fluorescent dye called 5-ALA before surgery.
  • You do not have porphyria (a rare metabolic disorder) or an allergy to 5-ALA or related substances.
  • You do not have another serious medical condition that could interfere with surgery recovery.
