  • You are over 50 years old.
  • You are generally healthy (ASA I or II) and can handle surgery.
  • You have a high risk score (more than 26) for lung problems after surgery.
  • You do not have severe heart, liver, or kidney disease.
  • You do not have severe mental illness or allergy to anesthesia medicines.
