Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for an open surgery (not using a camera) where a major nerve will be visible.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • The nerve to be imaged has normal strength and feeling with no history of nerve damage or disease.
  • You have adequate kidney and liver function, and normal blood clotting.
  • You are willing and able to follow study procedures and give consent.
