- You have a type of esophageal cancer called squamous cell carcinoma, and the tumor is in the chest area and can be removed with surgery.
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You are generally able to care for yourself (ECOG score 0 or 1) and have not had any previous cancer treatment for this condition.
- Your major organs (blood, liver, kidneys) are working normally as shown by blood tests.
- You do not have major heart problems, active infections, or autoimmune diseases.
- You are willing to use effective contraception for 3 months after the last treatment dose, if applicable.
