- You are 60 years old or older.
- You are currently hospitalized for a respiratory infection.
- You have tested positive for the flu, COVID-19, RSV, or human metapneumovirus.
- You do not have a severe disability or advanced dementia that would make answering questionnaires hard.
- You are willing and able to answer two follow-up phone calls over the next 3 to 6 months.
- You are not participating in another trial with an unapproved drug.
