Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have atrial fibrillation (a type of irregular heartbeat) that comes and goes or is persistent, as confirmed by an ECG or Holter monitor
- Your doctor has recommended a procedure called pulmonary vein isolation to treat your atrial fibrillation
- You do not have severe heart valve disease or major heart structure problems that would prevent the use of a specific treatment type called pulsed field ablation
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
- You are expected to live at least 12 months
