Who can take part
- You are a woman between 18 and 65 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with painful bladder syndrome/interstitial cystitis, with pelvic pain linked to filling or emptying your bladder and frequent urination day and night for at least 12 months.
- You do not have Hunner's lesions (a specific type of bladder sore) confirmed by a bladder exam.
- Your blood sugar levels (glycated hemoglobin) are normal for your age group.
- You can keep a daily diary, fill out questionnaires, and attend all study visits.
- If you could become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test and use reliable birth control during the study.
