Who can take part

  • Your child is between 2 months and 6 years old
  • Your child is having surgery on the lower belly area
  • You give permission for your child to take part
  • Your child does not have a bleeding disorder, infection where the numbing shot is placed, or an allergy to local anesthetics
  • Your child is generally healthy or has only mild health problems (ASA I–II)
