- You are between 18 and 40 years old.
- You are scheduled for a planned (elective) brain surgery.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is under 40.
- You have a low surgical risk, classified as ASA I or II.
- You have fasted as recommended: no clear liquids for 2 hours, no light meal for 6 hours, and no heavy meal for 8 hours before surgery.
