  • You or your child is between 0–5 years old or 16–60 years old
  • You or your child is currently sick with pneumonia or died from it
  • You must live in one of the 30 villages or be treated at one of the 15 hospitals in the study
  • You or your legal guardian must sign a consent form agreeing to take part
