  • You must be 18 years of age or older.
  • You have a certain type of head and neck cancer (squamous cell carcinoma).
  • You have already completed a full course of radiation therapy to treat the cancer.
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You have not had cancer of the upper digestive tract before.
