Who can take part

  • Your child must be a student at one of the schools where the project is happening.
  • Your child must be between 11 and 13 years old.
  • You (parent or guardian) must give permission, and your child must also agree to take part.
  • Your child must be willing to work in a group with other students.
  • Your child cannot have allergies to dust, soil, or plants that would make it hard to join outdoor or hands-on sessions.
  • You must be okay with receiving emails and texts about the study.
