Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have a displaced break in the lower part of your ulna (one of the two forearm bones).
- Your ulna fracture is unstable (the pieces don't stay in place).
- Your injury may also include a break in the other forearm bone (radius).
- You do not have an open fracture with severe skin or muscle damage (Gustilo type III).
- You do not have a bone tumor or a condition like uncontrolled diabetes or severe osteoporosis that slows bone healing.
