Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- Your collarbone break is fully displaced in the middle, with no bone contact between the main parts.
- Your fracture can be fixed with plates using at least three screws in both the left-side and right-side bone fragments.
- The break is closed (not an open fracture).
- The injury is recent—seen within 28 days—and you have no serious nerve or blood-vessel injury.
- You can attend follow-up visits and give consent; you do not have major health problems (ASA grade IV or V) or major head injury.
