Who can take part

  • Must be between 15 and 60 years old.
  • Diagnosed with 5q SMA (genetically confirmed).
  • Able to sit without support for at least 10 seconds.
  • Must have a certain level of motor function (HFMSE score from 10 to 54).
  • Must not have used certain other SMA treatments (except risdiplam in one group).
  • Must be willing to stop risdiplam (if currently taking it) and not take myostatin inhibitors during the study.
