Who can take part

  • You have lived in a long-term care facility for at least 2 weeks
  • You receive regular wound care for pressure ulcers (bedsores)
  • You can tolerate wearing a virtual reality headset
  • You are not blind, and do not have severe cataracts or glaucoma
  • You have no head or ear wounds that would prevent wearing the headset
  • You have not been dangerously or aggressively behaved in the past 30 days
