Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older and getting wound care now
- You will have 1 to 3 complex wound care procedures back-to-back before you go home
- At least one past wound care procedure was very painful (pain score 4 or higher on a 0–10 scale)
- You can understand and read/write Dutch at a basic level
- You have no conditions that make the VR or headphones unsafe or impossible (like severe dizziness, no sensation in the wound area, or claustrophobia)
