- You are 18 years or older
- You have a lung nodule seen on a CT or X-ray
- You have not had any cancer therapy before the PET scan
- You do not have a serious illness that would make the PET scan unsafe
- You have not had more than 50 mSv of radiation in the past year
- You can provide written consent or have a legal guardian do so
