  • You are 18 or older
  • You are getting prenatal care at UCLA Health and planning to deliver at a UCLA hospital
  • You were diagnosed with gestational diabetes during this pregnancy using a two-step glucose test
  • You are not on medications like metformin or steroids
  • You do not have pre-existing diabetes or certain other medical conditions
