Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You are currently in an intensive care unit (ICU).
  • Your doctor needs to check your capillary refill time (a quick bedside test of blood flow).
  • You or your legal representative must agree to participate.
  • You cannot have skin problems, severe blood vessel disease, or a missing finger at the measurement site.
  • Your fingers must not have tattoos, large scars, or moles that could interfere with the app or your privacy.
