- You are 18 or older
- You have been diagnosed with breast cancer (stage I, II, or III)
- You are about to receive your first round of chemotherapy for breast cancer
- You know your diagnosis
- You do not have another type of cancer being treated
- You have no hearing or speech problems that would prevent a phone interview, and no serious mental health condition that would affect understanding
