- You are female and at least 18 years old
- You can read and speak English
- You have a new (first-time) diagnosis of breast cancer or DCIS
- You are planning primary breast surgery (such as lumpectomy or simple mastectomy)
- You do not regularly meditate more than twice per week in the past 12 months
